Yorkshire True Grit just got tougher! Dark Skies takes gravel biking and cross-country mountain biking to a whole new level – are you tough enough?

Take part in an off road cycling challenge event like no other! Combining the toughness of Yorkshire True Grit with the dark skies of night, this event will really test you and bike to the limit.

Suitable for gravel bikes or cross-country mountain bikes, this night-time event will see you departing the stunning grounds of Newburgh Priory nestled in the village of Coxwold, on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, to travel 50 Yorkshire True Grit miles through forests, across open moorland and private land.

As the sun begins to set, and the moon begins to rise, Yorkshire True Grit Dark Skies will start, you’ll cycle under the huge skies of North Yorkshire and, if it’s clear, enjoy the views of thousands and thousands of stars and constellations above.

Taking place on Saturday 24th February, Yorkshire True Grit Dark Skies is sure to be an adventure ride like no other!

Yorkshire True Grit also forms part of the 2018 Dark Skies Festival organised by the North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales National Parks
